35 for 35

$35 for 35… today is my birthday. A friend of mine posted this and it really meant a lot to me that she thought of it.. so I am just going to copy and paste it here.

“While none of us can give Libby Kranz what she really wants on her 35th birthday, we can continue to spread the glitter and help make sure thatLove4JLK makes a huge impact in the world of Pediatric cancer. Please consider making a donation of $35 so that her tumor cells help save the life of another child someday.

Jennifer Lynn Kranz fund at Stanford

We are 5,000 short of half way there in less than 4 months!!

I just asked my phone.. (since math is not my friend).  500 people donating $35.00 would be 17,500 and  1,000 people donating $35.00 would equal $35,000. Long shot but worth a try.

Our goal is 100,000 in the hands of the researchers that have my daughters tumor at Stanford by the one year anniversary of her death. 100,000 puts one more person in the lab…one more pair of hands actively working to find a cure.

Thank you for sticking with us.. and caring in all the ways you do.

I wonder what she would have been like at 35…

  21. Done! Happy Birthday Libby! My brother died at the age of 30 from Ewings Sarcoma, they didn’t know how to treat someone at that age with this childhood cancer. Now because of you I have found out how little is given to pediatric cancer which is so wrong on so many levels.

  22. I live in Orange County. I was in Santa nella at my grandmothers funeral. I did not know it was so close to gilroy. I use to live In the Bay Area. I thought of you when I saw the gilroy sign. I thought of Jennifer. I will donate to help find a cure. Please take care I read your post constantly

  23. $35 for 35 done. It’s the next best birthday present we can give you. I wish so much that we didn’t have to.

  24. Jennifer would be just as loving a person as you are. She IS the loving person that you are, just loving in a different place.

I so wish I could donate $35 but I just can’t…my thought is there though…..and I hope you had the happiest of Happy Birthdays.

  25. Often when my daughter does something kind, particularly when with her younger brother, my thoughts immediately go to Jennifer. I’m reminded of Jennifer whenever I see happy children blowing bubbles, dancing, holding hands with their siblings, and smiling. Even though we never met, I think of your amazing daughter every day and see her in the beauty all around us. You amaze me with your courage and love, and I thank you for sharing your journey and her life with us. Together we can find a cure to this devastating cancer. I will always remember Jennifer.

  26. Done! It is a small gift on your birthday that will get you a little closer to your goal. I think of you and Jennifer everyday. Hugs.

  27. I really have no words but, I’d like you to know I carry your family of 6 in my heart daily.. Happy Birthday Libby!!!!

  28. Happy Birthday! Jennifer word be so proud of her mama! Keep up the good work in her memory…. Her smile lives on in every heart she touched..

  29. I’m sure she would have been amazing because of her amazing parents. You all continue to inspire me to be a better momma to my babies. $35 plus $6 today, for you and your first-born. I am still so, so, so, sorry for your loss. I wish I didn’t know your story, but am thankful that my eyes have been opened to this monster and the lack of funding.
