Help us to celebrate with Ty and the Murray family, 10 years cancer free/ no evidence of disease! Our wish is that every family who is dealing with a pediatric cancer diagnosis has the opportunity to celebrate many cancer-free anniversaries. This is what Unravel is all about, helping to fund innovative research to develop life-saving therapies for our youngest warriors.

Ty was only 16 months old when he was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. He endured seven rounds of high dose chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, 27 rounds of radiation, surgery, and 9 rounds of antibody treatments. Even after all these treatments Ty still had cancer in his left leg.

His oncologist recommended that Ty have an experimental surgery. He was the 3rd child enrolled in the clinical trial. Today, Carmen, Ty’s mother and one of our incredible board members, believes that Ty survived because of this clinical trial.

On April 7, 2010, the Murray family was told Ty had NO EVIDENCE of DISEASE and was CANCER FREE!!
