On our daughter Jennifer’s 6th birthday she was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). A highly aggressive brain tumor that currently has a 0% cure rate – it is terminal upon diagnosis. Less than four months later our first baby took her last breath in our arms. Jennifer’s tumors were donated to Dr. Michelle Monje of Stanford/Lucille Packard and cell lines have been created from them. That means she is still fighting…not the way we wanted her to, but she is still fighting and she needs our help.
