Jennifer was a water baby from the very beginning. She always loved the beach and just being in and near the water. I always feel closer to her again being near the ocean. ..
We got back today from a few days at a rented beach house with my sisters family and my mom. Tony was able to come for one night but had to leave for work… I know I am so lucky to have him!

Our first morning Charlotte sat on the deck just enjoying the view.
We had a great time.. even better than I was expecting. Our kids were truly so very well behaved and played together and with cousins the whole time.
I forgot my camera but had my cell phone so snapped pics as often as I could. .. I want them to remember this trip because I think it was a really special time for them to be with their big cousins and to just play and play and play.
Charlotte hopped from lap to lap. She would call everyone there by name but with a very strong “MY” in front of their name.

Nicholas loved going in the water. The first night he ran in so trusting with one of his cousins. (of course I took those pics on Tonys cell phone)
I missed Jennifer.. but tried my best to push it down and away and just look at how lucky I was to have them there with me. ..
Hands down my favorite time on the trip was when Charlotte napped getting to go on a walk with just my boys.
They packed their own clothes and each wanted to be sure to have lots of “Jennifer” shirts. ..
Inside the beach house was just as much fun as outside. Board games, coloring and movies.

I hope even if they can’t remember the trips details that they will remember how they felt. Special. Important. Loved.
Jennifer would have loved every single aspect of this trip.. I hope, I try to believe she enjoyed watching this weeks “for them because of her” from above us..
without having you
then losing you..
we wouldn’t have made these memories.

Glad you and the kids had a great time at the beach. I’m sure the cousins had just as much fun as Jonathan, Nicholas and Charlotte did. They are great together. I know Jennifer was looking down with a big smile with her baby brother/sister in her arms. ?
